Once again Adrian Brien Hyundai will be a Platinum Sponsor of the People’s Choice Community Lottery in 2014.
We often receive many worthwhile requests from not-for-profit organisations for support – as much as we’d like to, we simply can’t help them all.
As part of our support of the Community Lottery, we have the opportunity to refer not-for-profit groups seeking sponsorship directly to the Community Lottery. 100% of each and every $2 ticket sold by the organisation is returned to them. The harder they work the more money they can raise.
As demand will again exceed supply not all groups will be issued with tickets and most will only receive a portion of their request. However not-for-profit groups applying for tickets upon the referral of Adrian Brien Hyundai will receive 100% of their ticket request.
As a Platinum Partner we will have access to up to 25,000 tickets to be distributed to organisations referred by Adrian Brien Hyundai. In order to ensure that we have sufficient tickets to distribute to these organisations, please note the following process:
2. Once you have applied, it is important that you advise Adrian Brien Hyundai so we know which groups you are supporting prior to allocating tickets. You can do this by completing the Application Form For Special Consideration As An Affiliate Of Adrian Brien Hyundai provided http://adrianbriencars.com.au/.
3. Before allocating tickets to applicants the Community Lottery will contact Adrian Brien Hyundai for the names of groups who have applied through our referral system.
4. The Community Lottery will then ensure that they are allocated the full quota of tickets requested.
5. Applications for special consideration close on Friday the 31st of January 2014.
Congratulations Mark Winterbottom, Winner Of The Bathurst 1,000
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mark Winterbottom and the Ford Performance Racing team on their recent win at the Bathurst 1,000. Mark is pictured above holding the Peter Brook Trophy that he won along with some of the Ford Dealer Council Executives including Chairman, Andrew Brown, Dealer Principal of Adrian Brien Ford.
The win is a first for Mark and for the Ford Performance Racing team.
“To win Bathurst is amazing but to do it with Ford, to do it after the announcement yesterday, to do it with FPR, to do it with Richo – if I could ever ask to win Bathurst in any scenario it’s exactly what happened today, to see the Ford fans cheering your name. I’ve never been more pumped in my life.”
– Mark Winterbottom.
Mark came from a family with limited means and was helped into V8 Supercars thanks to a Ford-funded scholarship. He has now repaid the faith Ford showed in him and all those years of graft as a kid from Sydney’s west paid off. To win at Bathurst is special but to win in such an intense fight makes it even more so.
Congratulations Mark and we hope to see more good news from the Ford Performance Racing team in future!
The completion of the new Hyundai showroom, positioned on South Road in St Marys, was celebrated at an official Grand Opening event on November 22, 2013, to coincide with the 25th birthday celebration of the Adrian Brien Hyundai brand.
About 100 guests – a mix of customers, suppliers and staff, along with Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Operating Officer John Elsworth, attended the official opening.
Dealer Principal Andrew Brown said interest in the event had been strong.
“It was fantastic to have Chief Operating Officer John Elsworth attend and officially open the new premises,” Mr Brown said.
Mr Brown said the popularity of the Hyundai brand was a key driving factor behind the project.
“The Hyundai brand has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the last few years,” he said.
“The old Adrian Brien Hyundai showroom was simply no longer able to cater for the growth of the brand.”
Mr Brown is confident that the investment will pay itself off quickly given the continuing growth of the Hyundai brand, along with the enhanced service on offer to customers and their subsequent goodwill.
“With more under cover cars on display, modern facilities, open space and lighting we believe that the new showroom will have a very positive impact on customer experience, as well as staff morale which is an important factor in the overall customer experience,” he said.
Demolition of the old showroom commenced in May this year and the rebuild started shortly there-after.
The process was admittedly an onerous one, said Mr Brown.
“It’s been a tricky transition period as we have had to make room for the builders and building materials however the staff and customers have handled the change really well and with a minimum of disruption as we kept charging on ‘business as usual’,” he said.
The new showroom spans about 400 square metres in total, offering plenty of space for eight sales staff, a business manager and a car care/aftermarket specialist, along with up to 12 cars.
The former showroom housed two to three vehicles at one time.
Adrian Brien Automotive is the largest multi-franchised car dealership in South Australia, having commenced business more than four decades ago.
