Q: I would like to book my car in for a service but still need a car to get around in – do you offer loan cars?
A: Thank you for this great question. Yes! We do offer loan cars through our Service Department. We are happy to provide our customers with a loan vehicle and certify that the vehicle is roadworthy and registration is current. However, our insurance providers require us to collect driver identification before a vehicle can be used by our customers.
This agreement is not intended to be a car rental agreement or transfer title to you. Our insurance cover for the vehicle is for its market value and damage to third party property is covered to $30,000,000. This cover and any subsequent claim are subject to the terms and conditions of this policy including the payment of an excess in the event of lodging an insurance claim.
The basic excess is $3,000 or alternatively you can pay an excess waiver of $15 per day. Please note that other terms and conditions also apply as part of the Vehicle Loan Agreement.
