A Spacious, Comfortable And Powerful SUV – The All New Hyundai Santa Fe
Featured Vehicle – Hyundai Santa Fe
The All New Santa Fe is a spacious, comfortable and powerful SUV that’s been designed for the way you and your family live.
- Loads of room – comfort for up to seven occupants and plenty of storage space.
- Rugged elegance – looks stunning in the city but built tough for family adventures.
- Power and efficiency – powered for the extreme, efficient for the outdoors.

“Designed in North America with input from Australian designer Casey Hyun, the more macho Santa Fe is longer, wider, lower and 70kg lighter and loaded with more safety equipment and standard features plus improved fuel economy from its petrol and diesel power trains.”
Designed by Hyundai’s Southern California Design Centre, the All New Santa Fe’s bold styling is based on a concept called ‘Storm Edge’, which builds on Hyundai’s signature ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design language. The concept draws on the power and strength of nature to create the impression of irrepressible motion, which is conveyed by the Santa Fe’s dynamic character lines, low stance and athletic swept-back roofline.
Please note: Active Grille displayed on left hand side is body coloured, while Elite and Highlander displayed on the right hand side is chrome coloured.
Fog lamps are seamlessly integrated into the front and rear garnish, enhancing visibility of the road ahead during inclement weather, while also making it easier for oncoming and following traffic to see you.
Every All New Santa Fe is equipped with stylish alloy wheels and includes a full-size alloy spare. The Active is equipped with 17” alloy wheels (left), the Elite with 18” alloy wheels (right) and the Highlander with 19” alloy wheels (centre).
WIDE PANORAMA GLASS SUNROOF (HIGHLANDER)
With the touch of a button, the wide full-length twin-panel panorama glass roof transforms the cabin by filling it with air, energy and light, while connecting you and your passengers to the surrounding environment. A wind deflector enhances passenger comfort while a motorised blind provides UV protection and minimises heat build-up inside the cabin when the sunroof is closed.
The rear spoiler continues the dynamic roofline to add extra style and increase aerodynamic performance.

The aerodynamically designed convex side mirrors are integrated with LED side repeaters to promote safer lane changes. On the Elite and Highlander the side mirrors fold at the push of a button, while a heating mechanism ensures they provide clear vision in colder weather.
HID XENON PROJECTOR BEAM HEADLAMPS (HIGHLANDER)
The projector-like illumination of the High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon headlamps casts a significantly brighter and longer light beam without causing glare that can distract oncoming drivers. They provide unparalleled lighting precision and power for optimal night-time visibility and safety.
REVERSE CAMERA AND REAR PARKING ASSIST
To assist you while parking in tight spots or dimly lit areas, the all new Santa Fe incorporates a reversing camera as well as a rear parking assist system.
The rear view camera displays an image of the area behind the Santa Fe on the 4.3” colour screen on Active variants, and on the larger 7” LCD colour touch screen on Elite and Highlander. Similarly, the four ultrasonic sensors at the rear are automatically activated when the reverse gear is selected, providing an audible warning when objects that might be outside your field of vision are detected and indicating via the centre console display, which of the four sensors are active (Elite and Highlander variants only).
SPORTS FRONT BAR
A sports-styled bumper complements the signature Hyundai three-bar hexagonal grille and provides the all new Santa Fe with an athletic, ready-for-action appearance.
INDULGENT AND SPACIOUS INTERIOR
The all new Santa Fe has been designed and built to meet the needs of modern day families. Whether you’re simply taking the kids to school, doing the shopping, taking part in weekend sports activities or heading off on a family adventure – the Santa Fe offers the space, comfort and functionality to make every journey fun and stress-free. The cabin offers extremely generous shoulder and legroom for five adults over the first and second row seats, while a third row increases occupant capacity to seven.
There’s a multitude of places to store all the things you need, whatever your purpose or destination, including a sizeable cargo area with under-floor storage. Flexibility and versatility are maximised with rear seats that can be split 40:20:40. This makes it easy to carry long items such as golf clubs, surfboards and skis, or when you need more room, the rear seats can be folded down to create an almost cavernous space that maximises your carry capacity.

PROXIMITY SMART KEY WITH PUSH BUTTON START (ELITE & HIGHLANDER)
When you approach the all new Santa Fe, sensors detect the presence of the proximity smart key, enabling you to open the vehicle by just pressing the entry button on the door. Once you’re in the driver’s seat, starting the Santa Fe engine is as simple as leaving the smart key in your pocket or bag and pushing the start button, while also depressing the clutch or brake.
ELECTRONIC PARK BRAKE (ELITE AND HIGHLANDER)
Easy to initiate and release, the electric park brake eliminates the need for a parking brake lever or pedal. In addition, by activating the ‘Auto Hold’ function the vehicle will remain stationary and braked at traffic lights or in heavy traffic. Simply depressing the accelerator releases the brake.
LEATHER SEATING WITH HEATED FRONT SEATS (ELITE AND HIGHLANDER)
On both Elite and Premium, comfort is further enhanced with leather/leatherette* upholstered seats, while the Highlander also features seat warmers over the first two rows, with the driver and front passenger enjoying the extra indulgence of three-step switches for adjusting heat intensity.
* Finishes specified as leather may contain elements of genuine leather, polyurethane leather (leather substitute) or man-made materials or a combination thereof.
SATELLITE NAVIGATION (ELITE AND HIGHLANDER)
The in-dash 7” LCD colour touch-screen satellite navigation system is loaded with NAVTEQ™ Australian and New Zealand street maps that include thousands of points of interest such as parking stations, restaurants, ATMs and much more. Easy-to-use and ergonomically designed, the system incorporates SUNA^ live traffic updates that provide information about traffic congestion and other road conditions, offering you an alternate route to reach your destination without disruption.
^SUNATM Traffic channel coverage is available in the following metropolitan areas only: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM (ACTIVE)
The Active variant of the all new Santa Fe incorporates a 4.3” colour touch screen multimedia system that includes an AM/FM radio tuner, in dash CD player with jukebox storage functionality and connectivity for USB/AUX and MP3 playback. The surround sound entertainment is delivered via four door-mounted speakers and two tweeters.
PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM (ELITE AND HIGHLANDER)
The premium audio system incorporates 10 speakers to create a multidimensional soundscape throughout the entire vehicle. It includes door speakers, rear speakers, a centre speaker, two tweeters and a sub-woofer and is powered by an external digital amplifier that lets you pump out your tunes with concert hall clarity.
DUAL-ZONE AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL (ELITE AND HIGHLANDER)
Fully automatic climate control air conditioning enables the front seat passenger and driver to select separate temperature settings.
The Theta II GDi 2.4 litre four-cylinder engine (Active variants only) utilises a system whereby fuel is directly injected into the combustion chamber at the optimum moment by a high-pressure pump. Using a higher compression ratio, this system increases performance and fuel efficiency while reducing fuel consumption.
Available across all variants, the outstanding R2.2 CRDi Diesel engine delivers more power and exceptional torque, making it an outstanding choice for driving on rugged terrain, or when towing a trailer, boat or caravan. It is equipped with a Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT), which compresses the engine’s intake air to improve output and torque and third-generation common-rail piezo injectors that deliver fuel at 1800 bar with an unprecedented degree of accuracy and control. It is also fitted with a highly efficient gas recirculation system that significantly reduces CO2 emissions.
Developed in house by Hyundai, both the slick 6-speed manual (Active variants only) and the 6-speed automatic (optional on Active, standard on Elite and Highlander) achieve greater fuel economy and provide increased driving pleasure.
The 6-speed automatic transmission delivers smooth and seamless shifts, while the inclusion of an electronic manual mode enables a more involved driving experience.
Hyundai’s innovative Flex Steer function allows you to customise your steering to your environment by changing the weight of the steering and the amount of feedback you receive from the road. Normal mode is perfect for day-to-day driving; Sport mode enhances your drive on the open road; while Comfort mode provides a lighter steer and improved manoeuvrability in slow moving inner-city traffic.
The all new Santa Fe’s suspension and steering has undergone extensive local tuning to achieve a delicate balance between compliance and control, regardless of road conditions.
BUILT TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SAFETY RATING
Throughout, the all new Santa Fe is equipped with the most advanced safety technologies, and incorporates cutting-edge engineering and construction techniques that are all designed to safeguard you and your passengers.
In building the all new Santa Fe, ultra high-strength tensile steel has been used to improve collision energy management and to improve chassis rigidity. New hot-stamping and roll-forming techniques have been applied to provide added strength to critical body parts, while other advanced engineering methods have improved crashworthiness and durability.
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) enhances safety under emergency braking situations by preventing the Santa Fe’s brakes from locking up. It also distributes brake-force according to the vehicle’s load. In an emergency manoeuvre, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) helps keep the Santa Fe on track, while Hyundai’s Traction Control System (TCS) monitors grip and reduces wheel spin to assist safe acceleration on slippery or uneven road surfaces.
Hyundai’s state-of-the-art Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) system works cooperatively with the intelligent All Wheel Drive (AWD) system to distribute power evenly to all four wheels and make proactive adjustments to the torque delivery in anticipation of traction requirements.
Similarly, the Advanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) continuously analyses data (such as road speed, throttle input, steering angle and vehicle yaw) from the vehicle controller. It then distributes torque to any single wheel as required, providing improved lateral stability when cornering, and counteracting unintended over- and understeering, making the all new Santa Fe even more fun and safe to drive.
The all new Santa Fe has been built with a comprehensive system of 7 airbags that will protect you in the event of a collision. This includes: driver and front passenger airbags; nearside and offside curtain airbags; left and right side airbags and a driver’s knee airbag.
HILL-START ASSIST CONTROL (HAC) AND DOWNHILL BRAKE CONTROL (DBC)
Hill-start Assist Control minimises backward roll on steep hills, allowing you a comfortable transition from the brake to the accelerator. On steep descents, the Downhill Brake Control helps control the brakes so you can keep your feet off the pedals and concentrate on steering.
