What Does The Airbag Tag Do?

Frequently Asked Questions

This question is from one of our Facebook followers, Adrian who asks:

Q: What does the air bag on my seat have relation to? (fg xr6) is that a curtain airbag or comes from the seat?

A: This is a great question Adrian. The air bag tag means that there is an airbag in the side of your seat which will deploy in the event of a side impact / crash. Please note that some cars may have airbags but not display the air bag tag so it’s best to check with a qualified specialist before installing custom seat covers to ensure that your airbags will function properly in the case of a side impact / crash.
